North American Review
The long-running commentary magazine NORTH AMERICAN REVIEW featured a list of its contents as its cover design, a practice which extended from its beginnings in 1820 to its final issues in 1934. This doesn't mean that the design never changed, as it went through a variety of appearances, on occasion with overprintings in an additional ink color. We present a few examples here from a typical period during which it was definitely a magazine of record for the establishment. The contents may be read on the Unz.org website.
