- 21 September 2009: We've been running around like mad aardvarks here at the spacious MagazineArt.org labs, as the Backup drive on the main PC decided to quit in an aggressive and mysterious fashion, evidenced by its attempts to take over as Master Hard Drive. No magazine work was done while we were diagnosing the problem, and then doing a completely new backup run. Since it was the Backup that went, no dta sems to have been lst. The offending drive has now been extracted, tested offline, and dumped; and a new one has been set up.

- 18 January 2009: Added three issues of the AMERICAN MAGAZINE and four issues of AMERICAN BOY, all from John Martin. Added a 1927 Quaker Oats Ceareals ad from Mariangela Buch.
- 16 January 2009: Set up a new Ads category for Education and Training and started it with ads in new sections for Health and for Technical training. Set up new Household section for Kitchen Wares and Tools and new Food and Beverages section for Condiments. Added an 1891 ad in General Magazine Ads, and ads for Medical Equipment, Undergarments, Phonographs, Soft Drinks, Small Appliances, and three ads for Candy and Treats.

- 15 January 2009: Added two ads in Health Books and Guides and one in Patent Medicines and Quack Drugs; all from Mariangela Buch. Updated the LADIES' HOME JOURNAL section with the rest of the known cover artists, and descriptions for all covers. We're slowly doing this to all our images, to make them searchable by keyword, description, and tags.
- 14 January 2009: Set up new title POPULAR MAGAZINE in the category for general fiction pulps, and started it with an early issue from 1905. Added a 1937 STAR DETECTIVE in the Crime Pulp Variety Collection. Both from Joe Lovece.
- 12 January 2009: Added an 1898 SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN SUPPLEMENT, three Patent Medicine ads, and a Quack Medical Equipment ad, all from Mariangela Buch. Added a 1915 AMERICAN MAGAZINE from John Martin.
- 7 January 2009: Added two issues of GOOD HOUSEKEEPING, from Mariangela Buch. All of our online issues of this magazine have now been updated with text and keyword descriptions (whew! what a job!)
- 4 January 2009: Added four 1926 issues of NATURE, from eBay seller millcliff.
- 3 January 2009: Added a photo of the original art from the October, 1924 issue of FILM FUN, from John Kelley.
