Field and Stream 1922-12
2/11
Black hunter, with several interesting trophies on his back, hides himself and his shotgun from a white farmer, standing by a woodpile, looking around as if to see who was ignoring his "Gunners Keep Off" sign. Racist as an aspect of class and status difference, as there were probably plenty of white men who would also happily hunt fowl and varmints out on that land.
